Traditionally dolls are handed down through family lines; fathers may commission or make a doll for their daughters.
A Herbalist/Priest, Carver may bless a specially made doll which is placed on a shrine before being carried by the girl/woman.
In this artwork I have placed 3 strong standing dolls as guardians of tradition.
